Modern Mediterranean fare

After a relatively cold and wet winter on the peninsula, Spring has sprung and the boys are in full swing with a fresh and reinvigorated menu. Every time we mention Volpino, someone inevitably says, “Oh, I love that place!” Located on entry to Mount Martha Village by the sea, Volpino has a great outdoor deck that capitalises on those beautiful sunny days and the idea of a leisurely lunch, but its also complemented by the coziness of an indoor dinning room.

Peninsula Hot Springs

There is a place on the Mornington Peninsula where its waters have been likened to a healing centre, a place of calm and contemplation, where the difficulties of living can be alleviated or resolved and the associated ailments of the body can be provided with relief. It’s safe to say that its one of our favourite spots and know to many others as the Peninsula Hot Springs.

The Heart of Merricks

In 1924, Merricks General Wine Store (MGWS) opened, to serve a variety of needs to the local community. To this day, the well preserved building offers a glimpse into the past as a typical example of the rural general stores that were once such a central hub of community life. The charming rustic building, with gable bays & verandah, & a tree-shaded deck with outdoor fireplace, provides the kind of setting that somehow seems to infuse itself with the tastes on offer. Serving contemporary breakfast, lunch and snacks, the store is a popular meeting spot for many that also includes a produce store, selling a range of locally harvested jams, relishes and sauces.

Taste Award Winning Cheese

Springtime visitors to Main Ridge Dairy take note! Goats are kidding and all the new kids are in the paddock in front of the Cheesery - it’s here you’ll have a birds eye view of the frolicking. Whilst you’re doing that, why not enjoy a fresh coffee and treat or taste award winning cheese products made with love on site with a glass of locally produced wine.

Exquisite choice of food and wine

Once you settle in at Lindenderry Red Hill you may well lose yourself in this picturesque, European styled luxury estate. The hotel is created as an intimate world of its own with everything you need either within the property or in the acres of gardens which surrounds you but the other advantage is that it’s smack bang in the middle of Red Hill and the exquisite choices of food and wine experiences or it’s ‘alfresco activity’ – you can walk, crawl or ride to anywhere and back from here.
