Jenni has been yarn bombing for 12 months with a group of like minded creatives. It surprises her how many young boys are into the concept and a group “Yarn Corner” has around 300 people yarn bombing around selected parts of Melbourne. Each installation is different and can take different amounts of time to make and install.

Each installation lasts it’s own unique lifetime and is governed by the severity of weather and exposure. When the acrylic wool, cotton and jute starts to loose it’s colour Jenni will dismantle it to recycle and repurpose. Nothing goes to waste.

Jenni has knitted since she was 8 years old. Her Aunty Leila taught her to knit and has enjoyed it her whole life. Jenni’s yarn bombing is a combination of her love for knitting, nature and creativity. If you haven’t had a chance to see this artistic installation then hop up to it – it won’t last forever.
