This wonderful local Peninsula Garden Nursery can be found in Mornington at the iconic Tully’s Corner. We love visiting because Diaco’s staff have the time and the passion to chat with you, to offer valuable, practical advice for our gardening needs. Their team lives and breathes plants and gardening is their passion and when you want to talk to someone with the right knowledge they are up and about and within earshot. Spring is a time of miraculous transformation in the garden.
The Diaco’s Garden Nursery story began in 1949 when Antonio Diaco moved to Australia with his wife, four children, and a strong set of morals and values established while working in the fields of Southern Italy: Work Hard, Be Honest, Achieve.
We want to tell you about an accommodation facility that’s not open to the general public because, well, this place embodies the basic community spirit that we want to celebrate and preserve on the Peninsula. Since opening in 1989, Presentation Family Centre in Balnarring has given accommodation and support to tens of thousands of people including victims of domestic violence, financially disadvantaged families, those suffering physical or mental ill health, and refugees.
