Now in its third year nestled by the sea at St Andrews Beach, St Andrews Kitchen has quietly and lovingly transformed into a cherished local haven. What began as an empty space with great potential has since become a bustling, welcoming café—thanks to a little vision, a lot of heart, and a community that embraced it from day one.
The journey has been hands-on from the very start. Walls were torn down, a brand-new commercial kitchen installed, wooden floors laid with care, and an entire outdoor dining area built to bring people together. Every corner of the space has been crafted to feel like home.
Each morning, from 6:30 am, the kitchen wakes up with the smell of fresh coffee and warm pastries. The counter fills with house-made toasties, sandwiches, and sweets, all prepared with a focus on quality local produce. From 8 am to 2 pm, the all-day breakfast and lunch menu offers something for everyone—whether you’re after something hearty, wholesome, or light. And no matter your dietary needs, there’s always a thoughtful option on the menu.
Doors stay open until 3 pm for those lingering lunches or late-afternoon cravings. But it doesn’t stop at the plate—St Andrews Kitchen also stocks a beautiful selection of pantry staples, homemade jams, small-batch relishes, and an ever-growing collection of locally made gifts and produce. New shelves arrive regularly, filled with finds that reflect the spirit of the Mornington Peninsula.
This is a place built with love—slowly, intentionally, and always with the community in mind.
