Spring has arrived at Green Olive at Red Hill!

Join us on Sunday 4th October for the first annual Spring Lamb Love event and celebrate the Chinese Year of the Sheep/Goat!

Enjoy a tour of the farm, join the “Olive 101” class to learn about the life of an olive farmer and how to best use olive oil in the kitchen, show the kids all about farm life or simply come to enjoy our special spring-inspired menu. Our extended new range of Green Olive Body will also be on display with lots of samples to try.

Welcome the spring in our fields full of daffodils!

So what’s happening?

Farm Tours – 10.00am and 3.00pm
Meet the animals tour for children – 10.30am and 3.30pm
Cooking with lamb – cooking demonstration at 11.00am (free recipe cards available)
Olive 101 & Olive Brining Forum – 11.30am and 4.30pm
Kitchen garden trail – 3.30pm – join our Chefs for a tour of the gardens to learn the best uses for your herbs
Bass & Flinders Gin Masterclass – 2.30pm (bookings are essential!)
Fancy Farm Hats Parade – 4.00pm

There will be fun activities for the kids, face painting from 1 till 4 and the opportunity to meet some stunning artists on the day. Not to mention an exclusive Bass & Flinders Gin Masterclass in the Wiltshire Tasting Room.
Other fantastic local producers will be joining us on the day, with tastings of Mock Red Hill produce and Mornington Peninsula Brewery beers in the gardens and local farm fresh fruit & veg. Darren from EnviroTurf will also be on hand to let you in on all the secrets of biological farming and microbial soil health.

In true farm-style our signature “Fancy Farm Hats” competition will conclude the festivities – open to both the young and young-at-heart.
