Mentis Assist provides specialised mental health support for people living with a mental illness. Providing opportunities for people living with mental illness and/or complex needs to enjoy a meaningful life by strengthening self-identity, personal responsibility and hope.

Ride of Relief was established by Charles and Yuki Davidson in honour of Charles’ brother and Peninsula Hot Springs co-founder, Richard. In partnership with Mentis Assist, the event aims to prompt the important discussions surrounding mental health.

Ride for Relief offers combined exercise (riding & walking) and hot springs bathing that provides benefits for mental and physical wellbeing. The event promotes social connection where discussions of mental health and personal stories are shared.

Funds raised go to our charity partner Mentis Assist who support those living with mental illness, with majority of funds from the event supporting the Breaking Barriers project. Funds raised in the Gippsland region are donated to Wellways Bairnsdale.

Fundraising activities include a 165-day cycling tour, 1-day ride and this year for inaugural10-km – Walk for Ride for Relief on Sunday, 25 February 2024. We are fully enamoured with this initiative and implore anyone that feels strongly about mental health to come along and join everyone else to raise funds for the cause.

The 10km walk supports the incredible work of Mentis Assist while helping raise funds for an important cause. Together we can make a positive impact, let this opportunity does not go to waste. For more information and to register please click on the link – .
