We are excited to be swept away by the mesmerising sounds of Joseph Tawadros – Friday 15 March, 2024 at Peninsula Hot Springs – a true maestro of the Oud. This eight-time ARIA Award winner is a virtuoso and a musical innovator known for his captivating performances and soul-stirring compositions.

Joseph’s journey with the Oud, an Arabic lute with deep cultural roots, has taken him across the globe. From the stages of Davos to the Sydney Opera House, his music transcends boundaries, blending traditional melodies with contemporary flair. His performances are a feast for the senses, combining masterful technique with a vibrant stage presence that leaves audiences spellbound.

But Joseph’s talents extend beyond live shows. His distinctive Oud melodies have graced cinema and television, adding depth and emotion to productions like Ali’s Wedding and House of Cards. His innovative spirit has led to collaborations with diverse artists, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in music.

In recognition of his contributions, Joseph was honoured with the title Member of the Order of Australia in 2016.
