Mother’s Day Candle and Perfume Workshop Melbourne

Create your own scent this Mother’s Day at Sheraton Melbourne with candle and perfume workshops, sparkling wine, canapés and a keepsake to take home. This Mother’s Day weekend, Sheraton Melbourne is teaming up with Red Hill Candle Co and Red Hill Perfume Co to offer two scent-led workshops: candle making and perfume making. These are designed to help people slow down, make something by hand, and spend time together in a more meaningful way.

Baskets from the Garden at Heronswood

Join Ruth Woods, author of Finding Form with Fibre, for a hands-on workshop focused on making coiled baskets using plant fibres gathered from the garden. In this 2.5-hour session, Ruth will guide you through identifying suitable plants, sourcing and preparing them for use, and creating your own natural, plant-based basket using the coiling technique. Participants will also receive a detailed plant list to support their ongoing exploration of locally available fibres

Easter Long Weekend at Crittenden

On Easter Sunday, the focus turns to family, with visits from the Easter Bunny, face painting and plenty of space for ball games on the lawn. For the adults, enjoy a specially curated Easter-inspired cocktail, while the kitchen prepares something a little extra special to mark the occasion.

Cocktail Masterclass at The Kitchens

Join us at The Kitchen for an intimate Cocktail Masterclass hosted in collaboration with Stache House Distillery founder Mark Rigby. This relaxed and interactive evening begins with a welcome spritz, followed by a guided introduction to the Stache House spirits range. Guests will then step behind their own bar station to shake, stir and garnish three cocktails, including a twist on a classic Old Fashioned and a selection of signature serves.

Mind and Body by the Lake at Crittenden

In collaboration with The Self Project and Be Yogalates, this thoughtfully curated wellness experience is designed to help you slow down, reset and reconnect. Led by Physiotherapist Lisa Wilson, the morning includes guided mindful movement, restorative breathwork and a deeply immersive sound bath set beside the vineyard lake.

Harvest Celebration Centrepiece Workshop at Heronswood

Throughout the session, Domenica will guide you through sustainable floral arranging techniques, showing how to work confidently in a contemporary style while using environmentally considered mechanics. You will explore creative ways to incorporate unusual botanicals such as grasses, fruit, and vegetables, and learn how to bring texture and interest into your designs. Domenica will also share practical tips on photographing your finished piece, helping you capture your work beautifully.
