On Saturday, 8 November, experience the awe-inspiring beauty of Patricia Piccinini’s Skywhale and Skywhalepapa—two hyperreal hot air balloon sculptures that will take flight at Red Hill Recreation Reserve.

Arrive early to enjoy a peaceful morning as these giant, surreal creations begin to inflate and ascend into the sky. You’ll feel the excitement build while savoring a coffee or breakfast from local food vans. A specially curated soundscape will accompany the event, setting the perfect tone for the morning.

As the first light of day touches the Mornington Peninsula, you’ll witness these magnificent Skywhales soar, creating a truly unforgettable moment.
