James Vercoe loves wine. He is also extremely knowledgeable about all things vinous. As Paringa Restaurant Manager, he’s always on hand to offer help and advice. Our wine list now includes a selection of imported drops, as well as current and back vintages from Paringa.
On Friday and Saturday nights we now have a degustation menu. Choose from five or eight courses with an option of matched wines. Larger windows in the dining room allow you to look down into the winery where it all happens. Lindsay McCall and his team have just celebrated their 30th vintage. The vines are now resting in the autumn mists, and the vintage 2017 wines are tucked away in barrels and tanks, awaiting racking and blending over winter and spring. As the seasons change, new dishes appear on the menu, such as wild mushrooms, and soon, truffles. To see and learn more visit lovethepen.com.au
